If only we'd had a go at them! Showed them too much respect. But hindsight is a wonderful thing! They were literally that ten seconds from going out! Lucky.

That game we weren't brave enough to pass the ball as Coleman admitted as much. The difference in performance from England to Russia was truly stunning.

Up there with the best game I have ever watched in my lifetime. I'm in London on Sat, so will be watching the game and watching the sexy football we play that gets us to QF's

They were also 2 minutes from topping the group when they were beating russia .

They were just lucky again as they were seconds from playing their bogey side Portugal when Iceland scored in the last few seconds.

England vs Iceland sounds a lot easier and they can always blame the defensive minded Icelandic team if they lose 1-0
