Mon Jun 20, 2016 3:36 pm

Three men aged over 50 have been barred from Cardiff and Swansea City games after receiving football banning orders, new figures show.

Figures from South Wales Police revealed in May that 68 South Wales fans were subject to football banning orders.

According to official figures there are 45 fans from Cardiff, 12 from Swansea and 11 from Newport

South Wales Police figures show the youngest fan subject to a banning order on their patch is a 16-year-old Cardiff City supporter, while the eldest is a 53-year-old supporter of the same club.

A second Cardiff fan aged under 18 is also banned.

And a 53-year-old Swansea fan has a banning order, while one other Bluebirds supporter over 50 is subject to a banning order.

In the Gwent Police area, the youngest is a 20-year-old Newport County fan, while the eldest is a 50-year-old Exiles supporter.
