England fan has been dubbed the “bravest in Britain”

Fri Jun 17, 2016 6:19 pm

This England fan has been dubbed the “bravest in Britain” after wearing his shirt surrounded by a sea of Wales supporters at Euro 2016 .
Mirror photographer Andy Stenning captured the iconic image in the Wales end after the final whistle after the Three Lions dramatic 2-1 victory.
It is a scene completely normal in rugby - but very rare in football.
We are trying to discover the identity of the unknown fan, who proudly stood up just after Daniel Sturridge's late winner had broken Welsh hearts.
The photo has been re-tweeted many times on Twitter with some pointing out the fan next to him is wearing a Bournemouth shirt so could be either an England or a Wales fan
