' EUROS 2016 '

France are through to the last 16 of Euro 2016 with a 2-0 win over Albania.

They will play the 3rd place team in Group C, D or E if they win the group - they only need to draw against Switzerland.



' THE SUN '

Arsenal are lining up a £27m bid for Bayern Munich's Mario Gotze after Borussia Dortmund refused to sell Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

West Brom want to swap Saido Berahino for West Ham's Diafra Sakho.

Chelsea are in talks with out-of-contract France keeper Steve Mandanda as they prepare for Asmir Begovic's exit.





ROMA'S NAINGGOLAN BID

Roma will offer Radja Nainggolan an improved contract in a bid to stop him leaving to Chelsea, according to the Evening Standard.

The Serie A club have already rejected two offers - the last worth more than £27m - the paper says but the Blues are reportedly maintaining their pursuit of the Belgium midfielder and are willing to up his weekly wage from £70,000 to £100,000.

That's prompted Roma to to act - but talks over a new deal in Italy are not due to take place until after Euro 2016.

NEW DEAL FOR LUKAKU

Everton are set to offer striker Romelu Lukaku a bumper new deal to try and keep him at Goodison Park, according to the Daily Mail.

However, should he leave, the paper reports that new owner Farhad Moshiri will give the entire fee to Ronald Koeman to reinvest in the squad.






ORIENT SIGN PARKES

Leyton Orient have completed the signing of defender Tom Parkes, who will join from Bristol Rovers on July 1.

The 24-year-old has signed a two-year deal at Orient, becoming their fifth signing this summer.

Aberdeen have completed the signing of former Cardiff goalkeeper Joe Lewis.

The 28-year-old penned a two-year deal at Pittodrie after leaving the Welsh club on a free transfer.

MCCALL AGRESS BRADFORD DEAL

Stuart McCall has agreed a deal in principle to become the new Bradford manager, according to Sky sources.

The Scot's appointment is expected to be confirmed next week when he returns from holiday.

The club are making no official comment at this stage.

GOTZE TO ARSENAL?

Arsenal are lining up a £27m bid for Bayern Munich's Mario Gotze, according to The Sun.

The report suggests the Gunners have been forced to switch targets after it emerged Borussia Dortmund star Henrikh Mkhitaryan is keen on a move to Manchester United.

And Wenger is now ready to move for Germany international Gotze, who is also reportedly being tracked by Liverpool and his former club Borussia Dortmund.

STOKE INTERESTED IN BERAHINO

Stoke have opened talks with West Brom over a deal for Saido Berahino, report The Daily Telegraph.

The Sun have also reported Stoke’s interest in Berahino, saying Mark Hughes’ side have made a £15m move to sign the striker from West Brom.

The report also suggests the Baggies prepared to let the 22-year-old leave this time with Tony Pulis reportedly lining up a swap deal for t's Diafra Sakho.

VALDES TO CITY?

Meanwhile, Pep Guardiola is reportedly ready to bring former Manchester United goalkeeper Victor Valdes to Manchester City.

According to The Sun, Guardiola has talked to his former Barcelona keeper about a move to City and believes he can tempt the Spaniard back to Manchester, despite his disastrous 18 months at Old Trafford.

EVERTON BID FOR STROOTMAN?

It’s number six on the top 10 Football Whispers today with Kevin Strootman being linked with a move away from Roma to join Everton!

Everton have reportedly made an offer to Roma to sign the DUtch midfielder, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

The report suggests the Toffees have made an offer in the region of €38m. Roma are yet to confirm the offer and are not keen on selling the Dutchman.

JUVE IN FOR WITSEL?

Belgium international Axel Witsel is a transfer target for Juventus, according to Tuttosport.

The 27-year-old is contracted to Zenit St Petersburg until 2017 but has confirmed he is keen to leave the club this summer.

The report suggests Witsel is also attracting the interest of Stoke and another Serie A club in Roma.
