' WALES & ENGLAND FANS '

By Vince Alm

Just arrived in Sunny Lille all quiet at the moment. Wales and England Fans will show that although there maybe rivalry between both countries you can still watch a football match without fighting each other as we do in the UK every week of the football season.

There is a bigger sinister threat if not controlled by the french police which could lead to serious disorder from a gang of football hooligans. The Hooligans from Russia number between 150-200 and although some have been deported many are still at large in small groups to avoid detection. Age 18-25 they don't drink and their motto is live to fight; their tactic in Marseilles was to target corner bars in small groups where they could sneak up a side street undetected; Catch them by surprise cause carnage for a couple of minutes hitting people indiscriminately including families then running off not fussy who they attack, leaving the English fans being tear gassed and water cannon. These hooligans carry gum shields and fighting gloves and have weapons in their bun bags.

The attacks have been unprovoked but the bars were identified by the Russian hooligans through social media. The Russians have been adding friends of UK football casuals on Facebook/Twitter then waiting for posts of bars England fans were drinking in before attacking them.

If you do not have a ticket for the game our advice is to stay away from Lille and Lens; Those who are going to the game be vigilant and look out for one another. Try and stay in a large group as the numbers they are attacking with are small.

We are all so proud of the welsh fans behaviour in Bordeaux we set a high example lets take this friendship through the tournament however long we are in it.

As soon as we have anymore news we will be in touch again I can't stress enough look out for one another, and enjoy the football. Stay safe

Wales and England fans involved in tense face off after reportedly being targeted by Russian thugs

Fans from England and Wales appear to have been involved in a tense face-off with Russian ultras in Lille tonight.

Footage from social media showed chairs been thrown outside a bar in the French city as two men in balaclavas were ushered away from the scene.

Fans were captured singing "F*** off Russia, we're England and Wales."

Concerns about security in the city have been rife since England and Russia fans were involved in clashes in Marseiile.

Russia play Slovakia in Lille tomorrow, with many Wales and England fans there ahead of their clash in nearby Lens the next day.

The Ultras who approached the bar in Lille were wearing 'Orel Butchers' t-shirts. That refers to a well-known Russian hooligan group affiliated to Locomotiv Moscow.

Russia handed suspended disqualification from Euro 2016 and fined 150,000 Euros after trouble by fans
One England fan, Mark Crowe, 25, told The Mirror: "Everyone was standing outside the bar having a good time, English and Welsh together.

"Then these guys walked up and started on us. They were Russian and wearing masks. The police did nothing.

"Admittedly the English threw a couple of chairs back at them, but if you are attacked you have to defend yourself."

Two Russians have been arrested in the city.

Walked past a pub near the stadium in Lens, one of us holding a Welsh flag, and a load of English fans outside the pub said "come on, come and have a pint with us!" Despite being a bit cautionary at first, they're fans were great to us

They did, our fans forget the problems over the years. I don't condone fighting and if any nation is injured in these fights and I'm at the scene id defiantly try to help, however I could never bring myself to sing a united England/Wales song!!
