A Portsmouth fan, also known as Pepe, Mr Bache was with a group of around six friends to watch the football, but he is now in hospital with potentially 'life-changing' injuries
Friends who witnessed the assault said Mr Bache was hit around five times over the head with what appeared to be an 'iron bar or hammer'
The Russians rampage through the streets by jogging in a military-style to towards their targets.
As they get closer to the English supporters they arm themselves with metal poles, chairs and beer bottles.
When they get the reaction and retaliation they are looking for they charge towards the England fans, smashing chairs and bottles off people's heads, punching them repeatedly and kicking and stamping on their victims' faces while they lay helplessly on the ground.
In a particularly shocking moment of violence, the footage shows the attack on 51-year-old England fan Andrew Bache, from Portsmouth, who was left in a coma.
