Looks like they are removing the steel interlocking plates and membrane used to cover the pitch for boths concerts over the last 2 weekends. Now the clock is ticking to replace that turf pitch laid last winter, hence no friendly matchs planed pre season at the stadium. Club I should imagine want our first league match away to give then an extra week.

Yes as it was ruined last year by Wales games besides this year's concerts

I don't think you can blame it on the Wales matches.
The weather was shocking around November December and the Wales matched just highlighted the need for it to get reseeded. The relaying in the new year was always temporary as it was just turf laid over the 3G plastic bits, for it will have to be reseeded to incorporate the plastic again.

should said couldnt be relayed when it was suppose to be due to wales playing on it! and your right temparary surface laid until now?
