Inverness Caledonian Thistle have signed striker Scott Boden following the expiry of his contract with Newport County.
Friday 10th June 2016
The 26-year-old scored 15 goals for the Sky Bet League Two side last season after joining County on a one-year deal from FC Halifax Town.
Boden was offered an extension by Newport but has instead opted to take a three-year contract from the Scottish Premiership team, who will be managed by Richie Foran next season.
Foran said: "Scott will be a great addition to the squad. He plays in a position which we were keen to fill and he'll fit right in here both as a player and with his personality.
"Our work continues with other targets and we'll bring the fans more news on that as soon we can."
Boden added: "I'm happy to have got everything over the line and I'm now buzzing to get going.
"I've had a bit of a look around Inverness and it's lovely. You only have to speak to a few people as well to realise the people match the place. I look forward to living and playing here."
