Does anybody think he could be a decent target for us?

He scored 20 goals for Coventry in League One last season, on loan from Newcastle. Seems to have great potential.

Newcastle are likely to bring in a few players of very high quality I think.

Could a loan move for him be a decent signing?

My two geordie mates said a month or two ago that if they went down they wanted to see him brought into the Newcastle squad. Apparently he's fairly highly rated amongst their fans

Yeah. I'd like him here but don't think Newcastle would want him at an other championship club that could threaten them. Plus can't see why they wouldn't use him. Speaking to cov and Newcastle fans they both highly rate him.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him used at Newcastle next season but not much.. he was always cropping up at the start of the season on the scoreboard on Gillette Soccer Saturday mind you.. seemed like he was scoring for fun.. I would take him.
