Sky sources understand Eric Bailly has completed his medical ahead of a move to Manchester United.

The Villarreal defender would become Jose Mourinho's first Manchester United signing for a fee in the region of £30m.

Jamie Vardy continues to deliberate a move to Arsenal. But what are the reasons for and against leaving Leicester for the Emirates Stadium?

Sky sources understand Vardy held talks with Arsenal after the Gunners triggered a £20m release clause in his Leicester contract.

However, the 29-year-old - who is on international duty with England at Euro 2016 - is yet to decide on his future.

Liverpool have held talks with Leeds defender Charlie Taylor over a summer move to Anfield.


Chelsea are unlikely to make a summer move for Germany defender Antonio Rudiger after he injured knee ligaments. Rudiger, who recently joined Roma after a successful loan spell, is likely to be out for six months.


Middlesbrough have reportedly passed on the chance to sign Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel.


Tottenham are in talks to sign Palermo striker Franco Vazquez, although the £19.5m-rated player is also a target for Manchester United.


Antonio Conte will not be offering Brazil striker Alexandre Pato a permanent deal at Chelsea.


Chelsea defender Cesar Azpilicueta has emerged as a summer target for Athletic Bilbao.

MONCUR 'BID REJECTED'

Colchester have rejected a bid in the region of £400,000 from Barnsley for midfielder George Moncur, according to Sky sources.

Moncur will be allowed to leave Colchester this summer, but the League Two club are looking to secure up to £500,000 for him.

The 22-year-old has held initial discussions with Barnsley over a move to Oakwell, although the newly promoted Championship side are still yet to come to an agreement with Colchester.

Chelsea are convinced they can win the race to sign Alvaro Morata because he wants to move to the capital.


West Ham are poised to make a £10m bid for Dinamo Zagreb winger Ante Coric. The 19-year-old, who has been included in

Croatia's squad for Euro 2016, has been watched recently by Liverpool and Manchester City.


England manager Roy Hodgson has told his players to focus on Euro 2016, and not their club futures.

'CITY CLOSE ON AUBAMEYANG'

In case you missed it last night, there was big breaking news regarding Manchester City's interest in Borussia Dortmund forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Sky sources understand City are in advanced talks with Dortmund over the signing - he could become the second high-profile capture from the German club for new City boss Pep Guardiola, who made his first signing - midfielder Ilkay Gundogan - from the same team last week.

That's not all, as France international Aymeric Laporte, who plays for Athletic Bilbao, and Everton's England international John Stones are also on Guardiola's wanted list, Sky sources understand.

SPURS 'AGREE JANSSEN DEAL'

Tottenham have moved quickly to wrap up a deal for AZ Alkmaar striker Vincent Janssen, according to the Daily Mirror.

Spurs have reportedly already agreed a fee for the striker, who led the Eredivisie with 27 goals last season, and have opened talks over a contract.

Mauricio Pochettino looks to have seen off competition from Wolfsburg, AC Milan and Atletico Madrid, with Janssen thought to be set on a move to London.

LENNON TO TAKE HIBS JOB

Neil Lennon will be appointed Hibernian's new manager later today, according to Sky sources.

The former Celtic boss, who left Bolton in March, has been considering an offer to succeed Alan Stubbs at Easter Road.

And after seeking assurances on the club's transfer budget Lennon has agreed to take the job, with Garry Parker also joining as his assistant.

BORO PLAN AYALA DEAL

Middlesbrough are confident they will be able to sign Daniel Ayala to a new deal, reports The Northern Echo.

Ayala was a key man for Boro as they won promotion last season, and his impressive performances have prompted interest from rival clubs.

Newcastle and West Brom have been linked with the defender, who is entering the final year of his contract.

BRUM DEAL FOR SHOTTON

Birmingham City have spoken to Derby County about signing Ryan Shotton on a permanent basis, according to the Birmingham Mail.

Shotton has returned to Derby after finishing the season on loan at St Andrew's, and new Rams boss Nigel Pearson is yet to decide whether he has a future at the iPro Stadium.

Well, our colleagues at the Birmingham Mail think that new Villa boss Roberto Di Matteo fancies landing him.

Newcastle and Norwich are also said to be interested.

A curious player, one with plenty of talent, a good scoring record, but has never nailed down a starting place in the Premier League.

STUBBS WANTS STOKES

Alan Stubbs hopes to be reunited with Anthony Stokes after confirming he is trying to bring the Celtic striker to Rotherham.

The 27-year-old worked with new Millers boss Stubbs while on loan at Hibernian last season, where he scored nine goals in 19 starts, and could be primed to leave Parkhead this summer.

"I wouldn't rule out an interest in Anthony Stokes. But we wouldn't be on our own," he said.

Leyton Orient have signed winger Gavin Massey from Colchester for an undisclosed fee.

Massey, whose contract with Colchester expired at the end of the season, has put pen to paper on a three-year deal with the O's.
