Eoin Doyle's future?

Some reports over the last few days have linked Eoin Doyle with Portsmouth and Sheffield United.

You’d expect Cardiff would be open to offers.

Whether there’s anything in the two clubs mentioned is a different matter.

Reports from Portsmouth have suggested that their main target up front is in fact Lee Novak, who spent this season on loan at Chesterfield... trying to help replace Eoin Doyle.

I don't think we can say much about him because he managed to find his feet towards the last 2 months of the second half of the season then never got a look in since, I felt he could have had a decent season with us the season just gone.

I'd like to see Federico Macheda and Adam Le Fondre gone first before we put Doyle up for sale.

Macheda and Le Fondre poisoning our wage budget and contributing absolutely NOTHING.

Doyle will be on a far lower wage. If he gets a good run of games then I think he could definitely get 10 or more goals for us next season.
