Slade didnt give him a chance after impressing looking sharp on his first team debut. As we know slade was a bit of a pillock with team selection and clueless a lot of the time.

He outcasted players like guerra in the past and i think he just outcasted saadi too for whatever reason.

I wonder if trollope will like saadi and he could be like a new signing and be a good player for us this season.

If the media 'reports' of the club looking to sign 4 players and get rid of up to 12 (presume this includes the out of contract players already 'released') is true - then we are probably only looking at one new striker. There is a very good chance that ALF, Macheda and Doyle will be out of the door.

In that case we will have to use what we have already got at the club a lot better than in recent seasons - including the development squad and the 'forgotten men' of the Slade era.

Saadi, Heeley and/or one new striker supported by attacking wide players (Pilkington maybe back to his natural position) and Immers in the No 10 role looks the way forward. The only way to find out if Saadi and Heeley can perform in the Championship is to play them.

Spot on m8. Id like to see us signing a quality striker with then saadi and healey as back up and pushing to start alongside him, immers playing as number 10 behind a striker or as a centre midfielder with saadi and the new man up front.
