Atletico Madrid are preparing a bid for Juventus striker Alvaro Morata, but Real Madrid remain favourites to re-sign him via a buy-back clause - although they may then sell him on immediately for a profit.
RAMS KEEN ON KODJIA
Derby County are ready to make a £4m offer for Bristol City striker Jonathan Kodjia, according to The Sun.
Kodjia hit 19 goals for the Robins last season and recently won international recognition with Ivory Coast, scoring in their 2-1 win over Gabon earlier this week.
HAZARD RULES OUT PSG MOVE
Eden Hazard has ruled out a summer move to Paris Saint-Germain and confirmed his intention to stay at Chelsea.
"PSG are not part of my plans," the 25-year-old told TeleFoot. "I have a contract until 2020, I feel good here and I don't want to finish on a season like that.
"I left Lille as a boss, and I'd like to leave Chelsea as a boss, if I do leave one day. But for the time being I'm here, of course."

NEIL LENNON WANTS ASSURANCES
Neil Lennon is interested in becoming the next Hibernian manager, but is seeking assurances over the club's budget, according to Sky sources.
Lennon and his representatives met with Hibernian chief executive Leeann Dempster and the club's head of football operations George Craig on Friday to discuss the vacant managerial position at Easter Road.
Sky sources understand Lennon was impressed by the vision sold to him by Dempster and Craig, but is keen to know what resources will be at his disposal if he does decide to take up the role at the Scottish Championship club.

NEWCASTLE TRANSFER SHIFT?
Newcastle are set to reduce their reliance on the French transfer market as they look to earn promotion back to the Premier League.
The Newcastle Chronicle reports the club did not send scouts to many international friendlies ahead of Euro 2016, and is focused on finding players that can handle the rigours of English football’s second tier.
Newcastle have heavily invested in the French market in recent seasons, signing players such as Florian Thauvin and Hatem Ben Arfa.

Sky sources understand Everton are in talks with Koeman over a deal to bring him to Goodison Park, replacing former boss Roberto Martinez.
And the Liverpool Echo reports Dann will be one of Koeman’s preferred targets to replace John Stones should the England defender leave this summer.

‘CARRICK SIGNS NEW DEAL’
Michael Carrick has agreed to a contract extension with Manchester United, according to Perth Glory CEO Peter Filopoulos, who tried to sign the midfielder.
Carrick current contract runs out in the summer and had been linked with a move to the Australian club due to his close relationship with captain Richard Garcia, who was best man at Carrick’s wedding.
“It was a long shot opportunity due to Richard Garcia’s relationship with Michael,” Filopoulos told FourFourTwo.
“Perth was an option for Michael Carrick as he was going through what he was going to do in his career had he not landed a new signature with Manchester United.
“We understand he’s now secured an extension with Manchester United so that’s off the table.”

RUSSELL SLADE REACTION
Russell Slade has called being appointed Charlton manager “a hugely exciting opportunity.”
The 55-year-old joins the Addicks from his role as Head of Football at Cardiff City and has signed a three-year contract at The Valley.
Slade said: “I am very pleased to be appointed manager of Charlton, a club with a fantastic tradition and history.
"I was attracted to Charlton as it has has great facilities, passionate fans and a very successful academy. This is a hugely exciting opportunity and I cannot wait to get started.”

LAMBERT KEEPING OPTIONS OPEN
Rickie Lambert could be open to a loan move away from West Brom next season.
Lambert scored just one goal last season – a penalty in October’s 3-2 home defeat to Leicester, while the majority of his 24 appearances came from the bench.
When asked about a loan move next season, he told Sky Sports News HQ: “Maybe. I’d love to contribute to West Brom, but if not, then I’d have to make a decision and maybe go somewhere else.”
