I take it the club will now look for someone else or was it just a way to move Slade aside?

I would be amazed if they looked for someone else for a role that would seem to have been created solely for Slade.
Wouldn't be surprised if someone like Lennie Lawrence came in to hold Trollope's hand and wipe his arse for him but I doubt he'd be called a "Head of Football"

I agree about Lennie and it's always a good thing to have a bit of extra cash to top your penion up
