Cardiff City deny claims they want former Celtic FC defender after release by Nottingham Forest
The 30-year-old centre-half was released by Nottingham Forest at the end of last season and is now a free agent
Sources at Cardiff City say they have no idea where reports linking them with a move for former Nottingham Forest defender Kelvin Wilson have come from.
The 30-year-old centre-half was released by Forest at the end of last season and is now a free agent, with reports online and the Nottingham press suggesting his next destination is the Welsh capital.
The Bluebirds might indeed be in the market for a new centre-half, with Ben Turner released and Bruno Manga linked with a move away, but have rubbished claims they are in for Wilson.
It had been suggested new boss Paul Trollope wanted to be speak to Wilson after the Euros in France where he has taken up his coaching role with the Welsh side.
