Paul Trollope shouldn't have any trouble keeping them away from the bottom

The cynical Cardiff fan will naturally attest that the first order of business for Trollope and his men will be to avoid getting dragged into a relegation scrap and get themselves safe... 50 points and all that.

It is hard to share such fears right now, the Bluebirds are looking upwards even if there is a desire to somehow do it on a modest budget.

Well, much more modest than the last time they went up certainly.

Trollope shouldn't have any trouble keeping them away from the bottom

Surely only a really catastrophic failure by Trollope and his staff themselves could lead to this and surely action to get rid of him would come swiftly were danger signs start to appear.

Those who are set to find the Championship a struggle are the three coming up, although you fancy Wigan and Buron may have too much.

Rotherham, shorn now of the miracle-working Neil Warnock, may struggle, whilst Huddersfield and Bristol City might well find themselves looking over their shoulders too for long stretches.

I reckon Bristol City are more likely to be challenging for the play-offs than in a relegation fight.

agree - I thought they would this season to be honest and you can be sure they will invest and improve this time around.
