Everton have offered to make Ronald Koeman one of the best-paid managers in the Premier League, according to the Mirror.
The paper reports that Southampton have offered Koeman a £2.5m-a-year two-year contract, but Everton are prepared to offer him £6million annually.

Would have a couple of euros on Steve Bruce... His name was mentioned a few times on Talk Sport yesterday in regards the Everton job!!

managers stock can change very, very quickly. look at rodgers, tim sherwood etc.
i highly doubt everton will be paying £6m a year to their next manager, but with the new TV deal they can certainly afford it. i'm not quite sure why koeman is so highly rated. he's a good manager, but massively overhyped. then again, the media and fans tend to be very black and white with managers, when the true ability of them is somewhere in between. he's flavour of the month but so was pardew at newcastle, rodgers at liverpool, and even martinez at everton. the fans turned on each one with alarming speed. i suppose thats modern day football.
all the top clubs are taken, and everton probably represent a sidewards step for koeman, though they have superior players to southampton. he'll probably wait around for a bigger job than everton.
