Cardiff City have been linked with former Celtic defender Kelvin Wilson, The News Hub understands.
Since his release by Nottingham Forest last week, Wilson has apparently caught the eye of Paul Trollope, who will seek talks with the 30 year-old after he returns from the European Championships with Wales.
Wilson, who has spent a lot of his career at Championship side Nottingham Forest, made the move to Scotland in 2011. After 47 appearances for Celtic, he returned to Forest for three years.
Cardiff are in for a central defender after the club decided not to offer Ben Turner a new contract last week, and there are only three recognised centre backs at the club, with rumours also linking Bruno Manga with a move away.
Wilson would be an ideal fit, standing at 6ft 2, he would fill the space left by Turner, and give the element of competition for those all important defensive places.
The Bluebirds are also on the look out for a central midfielder, winger and striker, as they prepare to embark on another season.

We already have a Champions League defender who in.my opinion didn't get enough game time under Slade.

And Peltier believe it or not. Played CL as a youngster for Liverpool if I remember rightly...
