ROTHERHAM WEIGH UP STUBBS APPROACH
29th May 2016
Hibernian are preparing for an official approach from Rotherham United to hold talks with Alan Stubbs about becoming the new manager of the Yorkshire club.
Stubbs guided Hibs to their first Scottish Cup success in 114 years last week, but the Scouser could soon be on the way back down south if Championship Rotherham can persuade him to replace Neil Warnock.
Millers chairman Tony Stewart told STV: "Alan Stubbs is one of our three favourites for the job but we will do things the right way. We must first ask Hibs for permission before we speak to Alan directly."
