HULL CITY HAVE BEEN PROMOTED TO THE PREMIER LEAGUE
Tonight at 5pm, and you can watch it live on Sky Sports
It's simple. Hull City will play Sheffield Wednesday and, whilst the losers will go to Cardiff City Stadium next season, the winners will be promoted to the Barclays Premier League - with the possibility of extra time and penalties.
Updates on this thread throughout the day
Personally, I hope Sheffield Wednesday win
Hull fans sold 26,000 to Sheffield Wednesday's 45,000. Both clubs allocated 38,000 but Sheffield Wednesday have most of the neutral areas and corporate seating.
Brilliant support from Sheffield Wednesday but shocking support from Hull

Fancy Hull will do a job on them and get the result they need.

Agree. Steve Bruce is a good manager and his side should be too good for Sheffield Wednesday
Funny things do happen though and the distinct underdog can come through the pack (as Swansea did) late on to cause a major upset against the odds!

I think Oxford may have taken more fans than Hull

Was leaning towards wanting Hull to win for selfish reasons as they have stronger team/squad so woud be one less hard team for city to worry about but after seeing their pants support firmly behind wednesday now. Deserve the big time more for fans.

Wednesday fans should be singing "Is that all you take away"

Although they seemed to lose their way a bit towards the second half of the season, they were easily the best away team at the Cardiff City Stadium last season ( and we played well that night).
Watch them sack Steve Bruce now for a manager they think will keep them in the Premier League.

Another small club in Premiership? Apart from top 6, Championship has all big clubs going by fan bases?
Sat May 28, 2016 6:23 pm
Christ alive
We only averaged about 12,000 last season and only filled our stadium by giving away free tickets.
Our away support is shit and we took less than 100 to some places yet we are mocking others support?

Yes, our game away at Burnley was massive amongst others, think we took about 200, now how shit is that.

Honestly, there is an unhealthy obsession with crowds on here, thats the 3rd time in 8 years Hull have been promoted to the Premiership, plus they been to wembley for the cup semi and final, they took 27,000 today I have read, not overly terrible, not overl great, the point is, who arw we to judge with our fickle support

Sorry, I think you are missing the point, the burnley game if we won would just of been another 3 points, the playoff final 1 off game the winner gets promoted there's a big difference
Sat May 28, 2016 7:49 pm
It's not about the support, it's about the team. Why so obsessive about cried numbers. Well done Hull.
Sat May 28, 2016 7:50 pm
Wednesday out number them and they still lost the moral of this storey is no matter how many are in the stands its on the pitch that counts
Sat May 28, 2016 7:58 pm
Darren, im not missing any point, the point is we as a club are not in a position to judge or criticize another teams support, league game or final, whatever.
We have one of the most indifferent and fickle support accross all 4 divisions.
To criticize Hull who took 27,000 today is crazy? How many did you expect them to take? Why do you care? What makes you think Hull are a massive club with loads if fans?
