So would Russell Slade be tempted back into management?
After Slade was given his new job by Tan, which nobody including Slade knows what he will actually be doing? ? ?
These quotes, from his final press conference as Cardiff City manager, suggested so: "It’s early days so it’s difficult for me to say exactly what the relationship will be.
"I’ve done 750-odd games as a manager now. That’s something I’ll have to come to terms with but it’s been my life. It’s not something I’d throw away easily.
"If this role wasn’t something I felt long-term I’m cut out for, I would look at other options.
