I think Cardiff are making a huge mistake letting Turner go, He's had his injury issues but he's still the best CB we have.

I agree - this is a mistake by the club.

Me too, I assume city are thinking that Morrison, Connelly and manga are out three centre half's again assuming that Manga stays, and i guess they think that our young centre half will make the step up as backup

I don't see it as a mistake, he's barely played for two years now. Ankle injuries are some of the most repetitive and I think it's a purely medical decision. It is a huge shame though but I can't see him lasting long at another club before he's injured.

All those hoofballs during Slade's first season as manager took their toll on Turner's ankles

I really don't think that this is a good idea, especially if Manga goes and if Connelly/Morrison pick up a knock. Superkev tweeted earlier wishing him well and also saying that some club is going to get a fantastic defender. I also wish McNaughton was still here too. Best of luck Ben and thanks for some fantastic memories.

Fantastic defender when he played and not injured! Why keep someone who may or may not be fit at a specific time when required?

I reckon mangas will be leaving

Get goose pimples watching that Wembley goal, still seems unreal.
Turner was a collosal centre half and quicker and better on the deck than most gave him credit for.
A big favourite of mine, but if the medical staff at the club aren't convinced he's fit then it's a big gamble giving him a new contract.
One goes then another gets a chance.
Oshilaja maybe ?

Outstanding servant...but ankle injures for huge centre backs are a major problem
The club can't take a chance on his fitness unfortunately...
Good luck Ben thanks for the memories especially the Carling cup goal..what a day that was!!!

He certainly was Alan. I wish him all the very best and I hope that the ankle injury doesn't affect him in the future at whatever club he joins. He will be an asset to them.
