' CARDIFF PLAYERS WHO LOOK CERTAIN TO STAY FOR NEXT SEASON '
Friday 20th May 2016
Staying put?
Joe Ralls: Put pen to paper on a new deal last season and seen as one of the Bluebirds that Trollope will build side around.
Matthew Connolly: Deserved his player of the year award and will be looking to go again after agreeing to stay until 2019.
Sean Morrison: Another who did well last season to show his worth as part of Trollope’s plans.
Peter Whittingham: Approaching 400 league appearances and still has that touch of class needed, though may not be regular starter any more.
Anthony Pilkington: Played up front at times to finish top scorer, but Trollope will want him back on the wing.
Craig Noone: Like Pilkington, Noone could be under pressure from a new signing, but can give Trollope options. May even thrive under a more free spirit approach from Trollope's team.
Declan John: Spent time on loan at Chesterfield last season, but Trollope has said the youngster’s style of full-back is what he wants. Vincent Tan also wants home-grown talent in the team... and John can tick that box.
Lex Immers: His fine displays on loan from Feyenoord last season earned him a two-year deal with the Bluebirds. Trollope will like his classical style of play.
Lee Peltier: Mr Dependable in the back-four could give Trollope plenty of options.
Semi Ajayi: Highly-rated ex-Arsenal youngster who will have benefited from his time on loan at Crewe.
Simon Moore: Established himself as Marshall’s deputy and could move to No.1 if the Scot moves to a Premier League team in the summer.
Declan John could have a place at Paul Trollope's City team next season.
