Heading for exit?
Etien Velikonja: Has had success on loan at Lierse in Belgium, but almost certain to go when contract ends on June 30.
Filip Kiss: Is set to stay at Norwegian club Haugesand after Cardiff deal ends.
Related: Dramatic changes proposed for British football
Joe Lewis: Spent last two seasons on loan at Blackpool and Fulham. Contract up on June 30.
Federico Macheda: Spent end of season on loan at Nottingham Forest, has one year left but likely to find a new club.
Kenwyne Jones: On big wages and spent last six months at Al Jariza in UAE. Contract up on June 30 and probably won't be retained by Bluebirds.
Adam Le Fondre: With Cardiff needing goals, striker spent time on loan at Bolton and Wolves. Probably won't figure under Trollope, but we'll see.
Eoin Doyle: Like Le Fondre, out on loan – at Preston – when the Bluebirds needed a prolific marksman. Another who has a lot to do win over over Trollope.
Matthew Kennedy: Had spell on loan at Port Vale. Youthful promise, but may drop further down wideman order.
Tom Adeyemi: Could be type of midfielder Cardiff need, but out on loan at Leeds last season. Contract ends in 2017 and Cardiff have a clutch of central midfield riches.
Kagisho Dikgacoi: Another midfield man. Has a year left, but was on periphery of squad at end of season.

The comings and goings and the speculation that surrounds this topic is all well and good but the real issue at the moment is how Trollope convinces the fans he is not a Russell Slade clone...watch this space I guess
