Are the club being fair to Slade & Young?

Fri May 20, 2016 7:52 am

Maybe the best way to 'thank' staff that have given there all, but the club have decided not to retain there services is to.....

yes, pay them off handsomely ££££

Let's face it, staff come and go with regularity in the football world, why is our club holding onto staff that have been told they are not needed! It's not fair on them imo

Slade overseen a high turnover of players that has now slashed the wage bill, maybe he deserves small % on the savings the club made as a thank you. Isn't that more dignified than what we have now?

All I see is two personnel that are easy to mock and I think the club are fuelling it by not letting them go. Has the Head of Football made the decision to demote Young back to youth academy? It's making a mockery of Slade's supposed job, not even he would think that is in the best interest of CCFC

No trollope made that decision. It's been said multiple times that Trollope is picking his own backroom staff and 1st team. Stop picking holes in anything you can find, you should work for the echo!

Slade is not needed by the club moving forward. He is a football Manager and should get back to it. The club is not being fair to him.

Young is not needed by the club moving forward. Trollope has not wanted him around the first team squad.

The club is letting these two down, they needed better treatment than this

Trollope made the decision not to retain him for 1st team duties. The club failed to come to what should of been the inevitable conclusion of that

Tomorrow I will write a report about Slade and his past successes restructuring struggling Youth Development academies, i'll have a cup of tea, then move onto researching all the player tributes that credit Scott Young as a mentor, helping them make the grade

What a ridiculous statement.
He wasn't forced to 'move upstairs'. Nobody's holding a gun to his head.

I'm confused how is it unfair to Slade? he took the job he didn't have to take the job it was his choice its not as if he was still under contract :?

As for young im sure he is happy to be in work
