' BRUNO MANGA GREEN LIGHT TO LEAVE '

Thu May 19, 2016 6:07 pm

Cardiff chairman Mehmet Dalman has given the green light for Bruno Manga's departure this summer with him linked with Swansea City, Crystal Palace and even Lazio - subject to the club receiving the right fee.

Thursday 19th May 2016

With plenty of speculation around the future of the player, he has been heavily linked to Swansea and French side Rennes in recent times, and having joined from Ligue 1 side Lorient on deadline day in 2014 for £5million, Dalman told the BBC that he was for sale at the right price.

'At the right price, anything is possible. We don't want Bruno to go, I brought him in and worked hard to do so. He is a quality player and we want to keep our quality players, but if someone wants to come and make a big offer for any of our players, as a business, you have to consider it.'

Having made 55 appearances for the club, and been held back with knee and groin injuries along with a dose of malaria, Dalman went on to say.

'He did a fantastic job for us, although last season not so much because of injuries.'

His agent, Yvan Le Mee, has been in the press saying.

'Yes, Bruno Ecuele Manga should be transferred this summer. His Cardiff contract ends on the June 30 2017, and Swansea, West Ham, Crystal Palace and Lazio are all very interested.'

I'd be sad to see him leave but we have a few CB's and he has 1 year to go on his contract. I'd want our money back which I'm sure was 3m

I can't see him staying here. He answered my question on In The City and said "I want to play in the Premier League next season, hopefully that will be with Cardiff".

He's by far our best centre back and for sure one of the best defenders in the Championship. If the club wants to show some intent then we have to keep him. We bought him for £5 million so we shouldn't accept anything less than that.

Been a top professional, thank you Bruno Ecuélé Manga. :thumbright:

Just please don't go to those jack bastards! :ayatollah:

With Turner out of contract, we must keep Bruno. Essential for the future.

It's all swings and roundabouts though. Turner leaving has no real impact as he didn't feature.
Manga would bring in a fee to potentially bring in two players and we have oshijala who IMO deserves a chance.

That's not a bad pairing really.
Plus we may bring in someone.

That's down to Mr Trollope, I just feel we need rebuilding in most areas of the team. I went to all away matches bar four last season and Connolly paired with Morrison spelt danger for us.

in this division manga is quality, now we are going to sell him? we got nothing in our squad at the moment to be as good :ayatollah:

But he has one year left on his contract. If we can get a fee as as a manage your would hope he would bring in quality to improve the squad linger term

Re: ' BRUNO MANGA GREEN LIGHT TO LEAVE '

I'd like him to stay but it's unrealistic. He wants to play in the premier league and only has one year left on his contract. This has nothing to do with the club lacking ambition but the reality of our failure to go up.

He gets move and we get a fee. Everyone wins as long as the money is reinvested into the team.

Thanks Bruno.. A great pro who never moaned about being out of the team when sub standard centre backs were in front of him.
