Changes That Could Be Seen Over THE Summer...

Thu May 19, 2016 5:52 pm

Alright first off lets give Paul Trollope at managing the club, He deserves it. Slade was virtually shit but give the poor sod some credit, He steadied the ship and guided us to 8th place in the Championship. Not really what we wanted but ask yourself this , Did We Really Deserve It - I say no. The Playoffs were our ultimate goal this season but as it showed through some of our piss poor performances this season. I honestly believe that finishing 8th place was down to sheer luck, ALTHOUGH giving credit where credit is due we have had an decent record at home this season, It was just our away performances against beatable teams that really pissed on our parade.

CHANGES AT THE CLUB:
With Trollope in charge I believe that if given the right resources ( he IS a well respected coach whilst being heavily involved in the Welsh Set-Up ) I think that just MAYBE we can pinch a play off spot at the end of next season.

GOALKEEPERS:
Personally id love to see Marshall stat at the city but if the right offer comes knocking then I reckon that we should cash in on him. City could possibly then look for a keeper such as Hennesey OR Sam Johnstone. Johnstone does not play regular football but is a decent keeper who could be the perfect match for the city setup whereas Hennesey is aWelsh international who is now low down the pecking order at Crystal Palace.

DEFENDERS:
Straight off City should be looking to sell Peltier and Malone. Both have been good servants to the club but so obviously lack the passion that is needed to be part of a successful club. Manga should be kept at ALL COSTS however unlikely this may be, he is a valuable asset to the club. Fabio should also be kept as when fit has been a decent player for the City, although if a BIG offer comes in we should sell. Possible replacements could include Ryan Shotton or Adan Flint, These players could cost the club but I believe that they would be decent signings. FLINT would be difficult to sign as Bristol City have enjoyed a decent season in the second part, and next season the wurzels will definitely be up with us fighting for one of four Play off spots.

MIDFIELDERS:
With ameobi thankfully heading back up north to Newcastle I think good options for replacements would be the likes of Johnny Williams, Emyr Huws and Ryan Mason. City should really be looking to make Tom Lawrence loan deal permanent as he has shown glimpses of becoming a good play on his day. These three players may be an issue for wages but if they right price can be negotiated than any of these players would be considered a steal.
I THINK THAT CITY SHOULD SIGN ROBSON KANU AS ONE OF THEIR MAIN SIGNING THIS SEASON, his contact is up at Reading and if city could acquire his services he will be one hell of a good player for us. May not score many but it is clear that he is a nuiscance and can play some good through balls to whoever is up front.

WE SHOULD BE SELLING CRAIG NOONE as he has proved that he is a one trick pony and about as Useful as a Paper Mache Condom,

STRIKERS:

MACHEDA - SELL
KENWYNNE JONES - SELL ( Wages are too high for tight arse Tan )
LE FONDRE - SELL
EOIN DOYLE - SELL

LE fonder has been shit and a waste of money

Possible replacements could include Kemar Roofe , Sam Winnal or Tom Bradshaw and Simon Church

IF TAN WANTS PROMOTION THEN HE NEEDS TO INVEST MORE MONEY INTO THE CITY AND STOP BEING SO TIGHT WHEN IT COMES TO WAGE BUDGETS.
