I have come on this board on a number of occasions and mentioned that football as we know it is changing in a big way. There are many of us on here stating that the appointment of Trollope has been a missed opportunity, well I did wonder that myself but then I thought the following
1. how many other championship clubs have so-called high-profile managers - Answer; none that jump out and grab me
2. how many other championship clubs are going to spend big money - Answer; none, other than the three relegated clubs
3. how many championship clubs are changing managers and show no continuity - answer; lots of them
So if we are to steady the good ship Cardiff City then maybe the appointment of Trollope and the steady progression shown is indeed a positive step forward, and lets face it the last three years have been a massive roller-coaster ride, and I for one would like to see a gradual progression.
The message that this club is showing to the football world is we are not basket cases any longer.
