Fabio and Declan John

Trollope favours these to malone and peltier apparantly. If true this is interesting imo. Be interesting to see what players tactics trollope is gonna use that slade didnt.

He might use all those formations I expect him to be very flexible.

Fabio is the only one I rate but if on a big wage I'd move him on as well.

Pretty similar to what we have really.

Peltier is a solid player one of spades better buys fits into a rigid 4-4-2 not so sure if Trollope uses overlooking full backs how he will fair however with turner and most likely manga to depart he's an excellent option at CB with Connolly or morrison

Peltier solid defender, wouldnt fit in if trollope wants his full backs to get forward and provide width and crosses. Good shout though could make a really good centre back?

A team to go up needs more from a fullback that Peltier. Solid sub but no more.

For what we paid he's been a bargain even if he's is only a sub next season good player to have around the club

Surely we aint seen enough of him to judge him like that. And the last time he was playing in the first team was 2 years ago so he could have improved his defending since then.

he was an 18 year old up against some of the best wide players in the world at PL level. Agree it is harsh to judge him on that.

Peltier would work very well at the right hand side of 3 at the back, if trollope favours a 352 formation

Play 3 at at the back with these two wings backs tearing up the flanks.

I had a quick look at what he used to play with Rovers and read that he changed them to a 433 (451) type formation with a defensive midfielder and attacking fullbacks, but now that we have signed Immers long term and he normally plays behind the striker will be interesting to see what happens - hopefully he will be a bit more flexible than Slade who never wanted to change from 4-4-2 or 4-4-1-1

For me Whitts is far to slow to play upfield, but he seems to be effective playing deep with his passing range

I thought malone started the season really good, the next half of the season he went down hill big time just my opinion.
