Does it really matter? He'll stay as long as he's doing well, and be gone if/when he's not.

Assume it's on some sort of 'until the end of the season unless otherwise' deal.

I would think it would be a one-year rolling contract just ike Russell Slade was on and that would make sense for all concerned, i.e. incentive for Paul Trollope (to do enough to renew each year) and easier/cheaper for the club to get rid, if underperforming
