Visited the club shop and found out that the 10% discount enjoyed by SST has ended.

They intend to adopt a reward card in the near future, on which you will build up points etc.

Personally I would prefer the 10% off at purchase - makes it feel more of a bargain!!

I was going to call in today, but ran out of time. Myst say that I liked the 10% discount, but the 'loyalty' card might be okay. Wish they would just call it the 'Club Shop' instead of this superstore stuff. More traditional! At least the red junk is now a distant memory!

The 10% discount was actual cash off at the till
reward scheme is going to have to be spent in the shop or maybe in the ground
not as good a deal if your like me and spend hundreds of £ every season in the club shop

Gutted! Was going to pop down and get the kit as well.

That's it - alienate the guys who buy season tickets every year by offering "points" that mean nothing unless you are in a position to spend big.

Not good but I appreciate you putting it out there, as I had thought it odd that we didn't appear to be getting our usual 10% 'season ticket holders' discount on the new shirt

I've nothing against the 'Rewards Card' once it arrives, but it does now mean that the club will effectively get a year off from discounting and that (in polite words) is hardly likely to assist fans mood or desperately needed sales!

My lad will need an adult size shirt for the first time this summer - without the discount that's about a £12 increase.
I'll just have to convince him it's more cool to be retro.
