Don't see why not. I'm not saying we will , but the pressure is on them, especially if they do not beat Russia in their first game.
If (and its a big IF) Wales beat Slovakia and England lose (or even draw ) with Russia, they will need to win.

I reckon England would swap any one of those (maybe more! :laughing6: ) to have Gareth Bale in their line-up

If Wales can keep him fit, then I believe Wales can progress from their group and will give England a game :ayatollah:

Note: Time for a Wales 'smiley' on this Forum whilst the Euros are played out?

Speaking to a few of my mates in uni, and in general they aren't happy, with too many questions around certain players both included and left out

Of course we will win. We are a team - they are a group :old:

Pleased for Tom Heaton, well deserved.

England have got some good and up and coming youngsters.

Long may that continue. Being objective we need an England team capable of beating Russia so we can win the group outright and get a decent last 16 draw ;)

They might do that as this squad does have a look of freshness about it. That said old Roy will play the usual losers like Rooney, Hart and Cahill.

Can't wait to see Bale run at those defenders though  :happy1:

Great for Tom Heaton, surprised at only 3 CB's though unless any of the FB play CB?

Could scrap together a good team from that but like mentioned above Woy will find a way to ruin it

I'm guessing that's Spurs' Dele Alli? :?

Wales should concentrate on their own game and their own players (one or two can be equally wound up by cleverer/craftier players than them in the England squad) ;)

I'm pretty sure this is a Cardiff City Forum - shouldn't there be a separate Wales Forum?

Whereas I'm a proud Welshman and I want to see the team to do well, I'm not going to be a hypocrite and jump on the Wales bandwagon just because they've finally reached the finals of a major tournament for the first time in my life. When it comes to football, Cardiff City comes first, as they always have.

We often criticise the fickle fans on here who only supported the club when they reached the Premier League, and then disappeared afterwards. Well, for most of the 57 years of my life Wales football has been so bad that I couldn't be bothered whether they won or lost. So I'm not going to go overboard now.

I appreciate that many here follow Wales as well as Cardiff, but please, the internationals should have their own board.

I consider myself a Cardiff fan first and a Wales fan second. Over the years I have attended Welsh internationals but didn't go to any of the qualifiers this time.

I'm not going to France and instead I will be a 100% fickle plastic fan watching on TV  :D

I'm not a big Wales FC fan (it's City all the way for me) but I think your post is pretty poor tbh

LOTS of members of this Forum ARE big supporters of the Wales national team and want to air their views and show their support amongst like-minded individuals ;)

Where better than on Wales' biggest and best football Forum during (managerial events apart) what is the 'close season' for the club and its supporters?

I'm sure a Wales at the Euros thread will be put up and I wish both the supporters who use it and the Wales football team all the very best ahead of what should be a memorable and historic tournament  :ayatollah:

Nice to see a couple of ex-Bluebirds in their....I am really glad Rooney, wilshire, Drinkwater, Sterling and Delphi have made the squad. None of those names scare me at all. Shocked that the likes of Noble and Carroll were left out, they offer different options and could prove costly to England. Wales are like Leicester in a way, not the typical big names (Bale, Rambo aside) but great team spirit and fight. It's going to be great summer, just hope the fans can contain themselves!!

You're right, this is a Cardiff City forum.

But this place would be quiet and, let's be honest, very boring if all we discussed was Cardiff City - especially in between seasons. There would be transfer gossip on here and that would be it.

There are a lot of other things discussed on here, which plenty of people have an interest in. Such as politics, other football club's, football fans in other countries, music, TV programmes etc.

The Welsh national team is definitely something people like to talk about on here - always plenty of discussion on it during international breaks. In the same way I bet there will be discussions on Man Utd's, Real Madrid's, Juventus', PSG's etc on their various forums about their respective national teams.

Sorry to be negative but i think Wales will get a thumping off England. I predict something like a 4 nil loss :digging2:
