REID INTERESTED IN BOLTON
Peter Reid admits he would be prepared to make a return to management with Bolton in Sky Bet League One next term.
With chairman Ken Anderson and chief executive Dean Holdsworth still seeking a permanent successor to Neil Lennon, Reid has confirmed he would be willing to discuss taking charge of the club where his professional playing career began in 1974.
"If I got offered a chance to sit down and talk, I'd do it," he said at a charity game staged at the Macron Stadium on Saturday.
"It's a big job but I have had plenty of them in football. I have always been a competitor and certainly this job is a competitive one."

Surely in their position they should be looking to appoint somebody with no experience but lots of badges?

Was there early for the Bolton home game, and saw their team coach arrive. Must admit, that I was surprised to see Peter Reid getting off the bus. No idea he was involved. He was on the bench, too. Saw him up on his feet a few times during the game. Aged a bit, like the rest of us, but could do a decent job for Bolton Wanderers.
