BLOODY HOPE NOT...

I don't think he will take the job. He's seen first hand the shit Slade had when it wasn't going his way.

If he's confident in his ability he won't be thinking about failure

He's been "thinking" about something,
IF comments are to be believed and that doesn't inspire me with confidence that he 'wants' the job!
Sometimes (maybe in this case) people will actually admit to their limitations and stick to what they truly know (and no one can argue he's not a decent coach)

I would support him or whoever gets the job 100% and then judge him on his results.
I just hope this gets resolved asap to get the squad and pre season sorted to build for next year.

it was always on the cards from the moment he walked into the club.
but i have to agree with this comment: "I don't think he will take the job. He's seen first hand the shit Slade had when it wasn't going his way."
the expectations here are ridiculous. he would be lucky to last the season if he took the job.

1/6 Saturday 1/8 Monday. .
No dramatic change at all ... and still not a murmur from anywhere .. the longer it drags on like this the less likely trollope is of having the job in my opinion. .

If Trollope does decide it's not for him then who are these others being interviewed if Bellamy, Warnock etc are not even thought of for the job?
