They Are desperate to go straight back up and think warnock can do that , no garauntees in football !! Very short term plan which is not what Ashley wants so he says .

They could go for the quick fix...and is that so bad,once they're back up they get a younger guy in ..very frustrating if this happens for them when it should and could be us.

Warnock is no guarantee of success. It certainly wouldn't be building for the future, just a short-term fix and a gamble for that.

If he went to Newcastle it could as easily be another Leeds (disaster) as a Sheffield Utd or QPR (first spell).

Any managerial contract is likely to be short term - probably just one year - given his age and personal circumstances (wife's illness and because he still lives between London and Cornwall) and his previous recent statements that he might go on for one more year.

Great post (not) as you omitted to mention that the same 'sources' also mentioned Giggs as a candidate!
