Did the club consult the fans about the restructure?

Sat May 14, 2016 6:35 pm

The days of employing a proper Manager looks to be gone under Tan

Head Coach - trains the players, tactics - picks the team

Transfer committee - If you think Choo, Dalman or more importantly the head coach can veto a signing you would be wrong :thumbright: I just can't believe the process is as democratic as the club makes out :thumbright:

Having the restructure is a big change, it relies heavily on the expertise of club officials :?

If it goes well, I will give them credit. If we go backwards, the club officials should be held accountable, not the head coach

I don't think it's the fans place to have a say on this.

I don't like the structure that seems popular in football but let's see.

It can work if he had football people at the club, all we have is Slade who's biggest achievement is signing Jagielka on a free almost two decades ago.

We are hardly trailblazing here are we.The old fashioned manager that we are used to is going and I believe will soon be gone forever.I think the job has become too big for one man these days.

I'm not totally against it, more on the fence. I think it's beginning to dawn on a few that this restructure is markedly different to what we were accustomed to supporting City. Yes, the game is much more global so the traditional manager defo needs help with scouting players these days :bluescarf: :ayatollah:

I don't want to Tan to make any more signings tbh, he's had a go, now just give it a rest for the sake of the club. Costly not only for him, but the head coach who is the fall guy when players signed are not useful to him

Have you ever considered management, or maybe being chairman of a club as you seem to have the proverbial finger on the pulse?

Manager or head coach, its just a title. We were just late to the party.

Football is a big money business nowadays. How ethical is it for a manager to buy players that just happen be with the same agent as he is ? You need that oversight. Far, far too late for us. If Tans network highlights a player better than we have whats the issue....Can't hear the usual suspects complaining about Immers.
