Well done WBA

Every football fan should watch the Hillsborough disaster documentary on BBC iplayer. It is without doubt the best 2 hours of TV ever produced by the corporation.

Is that the one which was on last Sunday, with a lot of the input from Professor Phil Scraton?

Fantastic programme, and not ashamed to admit that it really moved me.

That's the one. Phil Scraton is an amazing man who just wouldn't accept cover up for an answer.

I have no affiliation to Liverpool FC but the bit where 30,000 scousers stand up and chant 'justice for the 96' towards Andy Burnham was fantastic. You could see in the eyes of AB that he knew he had to do something to bring justice to Liverpool.

After watching it, you can see how much Phil Scraton did. And he did it because he knew everything didn't add up.

I believe that was a defining moment, when Andy Burnham went to Hillsbrough. He's a season ticket holder at Everton I think and goes to most of their matches when he can, and at that moment he knew what he had to do. His speech after the recent result was outstanding and what politics should be like.

Not often I praise the Tories, but also Theresa May has done good work on Hillsborough to be fair to her.

But really it's all down to those who never gave up - Phil Scraton, Kenny Dalglish, the Liverpool reverend and obviously the families. I will say it's one of the best two hours of TV.
