People wanting Pearson or Warnock?

Have either of these taken a club up to the premiership on a limited budget and wages?

I have gone off the idea of both after thinking.

We don't know what the budget is though and id bet our wage budget is still massive compared to a lot of clubs.

Has any manager taken a team up on a limited budget and wage?

Are you suggesting Ian Holloway is the man for us? :o :?:

What i mean is Pearson spent millions and millions over quite a few seasons probably alot more than most clubs and i seem to remember Warnock spending millions when he took Qpr up?
Both seem to have struggled in the premiership?
I'd rather Cardiff put faith in a younger manager and be patient and let him build over as few seasons rather than appointing a dinosaur in the hope we can rush promotion.

Your point isnt really valid even if they spent a bit to get promoted they have done it and its not easy winning the championship no matter what you spend just look at derby this yr they spent loads and yes they are in the playoffs but for the millions they spent they should have been looking to finish top 2. what your saying is right they did spend a bit but according to the club there will be funds available and depending on who gets sold there may even be more money made available so yes i would much rather a tried and tested manager who can get u promotion over a youngster who has never had to deal wit top professionals only kids. personally i dont think professional players will have the respect for the likes or rowberry when the going gets tough and thats why i think rowberry would be an awful appointment. just cos hes young and has a pro license doesnt make him qualified, i have a uefa b license dmaybe i should throw my name in the hat

I'm not pointing directly at Rowberry but there are young managers out there with some experience which id rather see us take a chance on rather than thinking some old manager will take us up because he's done it with big funds in the past..

Dont think Warnock spent a lot when he took Sheffield Utd up and also had them in a couple of good cup runs I recall.

Also random fun fact when he took over at the blades he took over from no other than a certain Russel Slade...

Always liked Warnock

Warnock would be a safe pair of hands and would give us a great chance of getting in the playoffs. I don't get the argument of planning for the future and building a 'Cardiff way'. In my mind you plan for now, these days managers only last for a couple of seasons at most. Our priority is to get to the premier league and I think Warnock would give us a good chance. He may not be the long term future of the club but let's get to the premier league first and worry about that later.

They could both gain promotion with the squad we have
