FLORES TO CARDIFF?

Fri May 13, 2016 9:51 am

Fits the bill of being young & foreign if you are to believe that these are the alleged requirements? Maybe a bit too good for us & wages may be a stumbling block. At the end of the day, the next appointment really depends on how much the club want prem football. E.g. Warnock would almost gurantee prem football / play off push. Plenty of quality managers out there, why are we trying to take a risk? :bluescarf:

He would cost too much. The managers we are looking at are young and inexpensive.

He manages at elite level and will have better offers. We did not the take the opportunity to employ a quality manager when he had a go at elite level. Prob for the best though as we would still be in red

No manager can guarantee premier league football or play offs

Exactly mate, some of the top elite managers would struggle with limited funds to get a team out of the championship

Can you explain how Warnock would garentee prem football, he's taken two clubs up in about ten years

I wondered how long it would take for someone to suggest him.

Thing is we are looking at cheaper managers but I wouldn't rule it out if someone came along Tan really wanted and he seen as a good opportunity then we would go for it.

If Slade can just miss out on the play offs im sure warnock would Adleast take us to the play offs. Knows this league inside out and you cannot deny his credentials. It's not as if we have a poor squad, with a couple new smart / cheap buys we can easily push for promotion this year with the right manager e.g warnock

Leeds in for Flores & has not ruled out managing in the Championship. Are we not big enough?

Big enough without a doubt.
Sort of name that would get people talking. IMO he would be ideal.

Leeds United way way bigger than us, they could well attract him, we are to small I'm afraid :bluebird:

In what respect, he would go where the money is.
Leeds to me are a no go club as a manager.

If Choo insists on foreign manager I could see the club going for Paolo Di Canio, with Slade as the go between. Di Canio would love the likes of Lex Immers and would inject some much needed fire and steel to the club.... I'm excited by our club for the first time since the prem, whomever is appointed I will consider a plus from Slade.

We are not that small! And tan is easy to work with compared to their mad cap owner. :old:

I just hope cardiff take a manager that has experience who can attract decent players to the club..
Instead of taking on a manager where fans says WHO THAT..
Get someone in that we as fans trust and know who can give us hope.. FOR ONCE TAN LISTEN...
