Are we as ambitious as Rotherham united

If we are we will go for Warnock if he will come and we can afford him. He may be on a better deal with the mighty Millers though :bluebird:

His deal is up
He was on a huge bonus to keep them up
If war nock came to us it would be a short term deal again
He would not give us long term aims
We need some one who can put our younger teams in order as well as first team

a very ageist comment there Steve

He is 67, you are possibly right but let's face it. How many managers make it past a 3 year term anyway? Our own Arsene Wenger lasted a season and a half. 3 seasons and PL status by the end, he can do the job

Warnock can manage a team aged 70+ i'm sure

Agree he is a short term option. But why not IF we can appoint Rowberry and/or Bellamy as assistants to learn from him.
They could then take over when he goes.
Personally I dont like him as a person or his style of football (what I have seen) but he could be a bridge to fill the gap until a younger manager can come in.

I cant see Bellamy coming in to sit next to Warnock.

If Bellamy comes in no doubt it will be on his terms, as manager and with an experienced coach of his choice.
