James Rowberry!!!!!!

well how underwhelming is this but im gonna try and put a positive spin on it so hang tight here goes :laughing5:

1.He has a great knowledge of our club and hopefully the passion the fans still have for it
2.He obviously is a talented coach with the badges that he has achieved and at such a young age
3.You don't have to have been a good player to be a good boss (mourinho being an example)
4.Surely now our younger players such as John and O'Sullivan will get a look in
5.If it works out what a stroke of genius it looks like (if it don't Russell is in the wings lol) only joking
6.He is the better choice over Bellamy when you take into account his experience coaching and the badges he has.
7. I cant think of anymore. im sure not many will agree with these statements but im a half full kinda guy and will support whoever takes the reigns. this is so left field I think he has got a chance of getting the job because it like Tan is just still reminding us how mad he really is.. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

My view is when Malky was here and we were promoted he wasn't experienced enough because it happened to quickly and the squad and the whole set up behind him in my opinion was all over the place.. If the club are going for a quick fix and putting all their eggs in one basket to get promotion then the Warnock type is more suitable.
But if the club are going down the build slowly and patiently over a few seasons route then he could be a good in the long run..

good post  I was thinking to post along these lines. The club need to let the fans know what the objectives are when the head coach has been employed. If James Rowberry is expected to get top 6 first season + play some youth, that's unrealistic.

I certainly wouldnt be happy with a replacement 8 years younger than me! He wont be much older than the players! There is a reason all the Managers are older and I dont think I need to spell it out! :o

Well i heard yesterday that quite a few of the players are supportive of Rowberry which includes younger and senior players. How much truth is in that im not sure..

Lets give him a chance. Bring in youth players (rebuild the Academy).
No stupid "we need minimum play off place finish".

Build a solid youthful "local" base and have a proper 5/6 year plan.

Malky was given a 3 year plan, but he achieved it in 2. So as said above, maybe the club was not ready. Lets not make the same mistake. Plan ahead with realistic goals.

Tell the fans the plan so everybody is aware, and not demanding PL football now.
Lets get the fans proud of the club again, with a connection to the club and players. That is the only future imo. :bluebird: :bluescarf: :ayatollah:
