' THE TWO MAIN CCFC MANAGER CONTENDERS/BOTH BEEN INTERVIEWED '
The Two man contenders now for the Cardiff City managers job
Paul Trollope was Russell Slades assistant manager and has already been interviewed and is now considering the offer.
James Rowberry currently Cardiff City's first team and was interviwed yesterday. If Tan goes through with the bold call, it would make Rowberry the youngest manager in the League.

I was told yesterday that Trollope is leaving to team up with Chris Hughton again at Brighton.
He was with Chris during his Norwich days.

Maybe clements and the new academy guy will be no 1 and 2 ?

Could be true as he so far has not said yes to the job and he was actually offered it.

Certainly a roller coaster for us fans, but it does appear that the club have it in hand one way or another

Part of me is happy about this youngster as a manager as he could be a really good manager and have fresh ideas but then the other part of me thinks it could be a disaster as he's never managed before at league level.

Robbery would make a great assistant and is highly respected by our players, yes ready to move up as assistant, but as manager No for me.

Maybe that's what he's being interviewed for if it's true about Trollope leaving, in an ideal world I'd like to see warnock with a young no2 to learn off him so he's ready to take over when Warnock retires

It's good that their holding these interviews with different types of managers. It worked with malky...

If what we are hearing today about Trollope and Rowberry is true then it really shows the type of manager the club is going for. The criteria would most definitely appear to be a young forward thinking modern coach which rules out so many of the names that have been mentioned over the past week. So realistically who can we say is genuinely on their wanted list?
Paul Trollope
James Rowberry
Paul Clement
Robbie Neilson
Pep Clotet
Neil Ardley
Robert Page
Rubén Cousilla
And know a few other Unknown up and coming coaches!
The likes of Warnock and Pearson seem so far removed from the criteria that's not much chance we will see anyone with any real experience.
I would have thought Paul Lambert or Steve Clarke would have been worth a look but judging the news about Rowberry even they appear too old and probably too expensive.
To be honest I don't really know what to think about the city at the moment. The job would appear to have Warnocks name all over it and in my opinion he'd be a near perfect choice but not sure Cardiff are thinking that way. What they are proposing is a big gamble and a bold move. Just hope it works out.
