We've got to stop being too kind as a club.

I think slade did an ok job and was pleased with his time overall but we keep giving people chances all the time like Ollie Gunnar, slade and now slade has gone into a different role and if we sign Trollope as our next manager we will be giving him a chance to prove his worth in the championship. After all this time I would be disappointed if it was Trollope (no disrespect to him as he obviously has a lot of football know how). I'm not saying that the new manager has to be Neil Warnock but his name just keeps springing to mind - it's almost screaming out sign him! Of course there is no guarantee he wud be a success but he has got proven championship experience and success! So we wouldn't be saying here's your chance Neil (like. We would to Trollope) we wud surely be saying go and get the job done that you do so well! It wouldn't be the end of the world if we end up with troloppe as our manager but I would think that this time next year we could be looking at the same final standings - about average 8-10 place (that's my opinion though). The club needs to be nice to the fans but ruthless in decision making in terms of quality of players and manager. Just to add though I'm chuffed with our signing of lex immers! That is a good start. :bluescarf:
