CARDIFF SAFE STANDING

Celtic have had the go ahead to try it out. Anyone itk know if this is a possibility for Cardiff? Although I look at the canton nowadays and a lot are now sitting :(

It's not passed in English leagues yet but there's been lots of trials and petitions. I think we'll see it in the next few years. Our stadiums desperately need it.

Regulation of stadia is currently not devolved. However, I do believe that it will soon be devolved in the forthcoming Wales bill. Lucky us ay, we are deemed capable of holding such power in the 21st century.

Celtic are allowed to do so because it is something that has been devolved to Edinburgh.

Weirdly,the leader of the Welsh conservatives has been a champion of this. I recall seeing a video on YouTube of him inside the CCS talking about it.

At a guess, unless Westminster do something in the meantime, it will be a few years yet

Can't bloody wait, might start going to games a bit more than I do now.
