Been realeased by Reading according to Sky Sports.
Not the most consistent player but got to be worth a punt on him a free agent now so no cost think he would be a decent member of our squad always good to have a Welshman in the squad aswell

All I said is that he is not Welsh, he has never lived in Wales. If he was good enough to play for England that's what he would do

I'd take him on a free , we need a few strikers and I would see HRK as a sub , don't think he's good enough to rey on as your main striker

He plays his heart out in a welsh top that's what matters.
Was Vinnie Jones Welsh? Nope but he captained us.
Giggsy played for England School Boys remember...
I'd take him.

all i'm saying is that it's weird he's described as a Welshman when in fact he's English. If he signs, he will be an Englishman playing for Cardiff City.

He qualifies for Wales by present International rules. All International teams use players born outside their country of birth but within these rules so he is Welsh. England Cricket Team should be called Rest of the World and NZ rugby, the Pacific Islands?

I got no problems with the International rules, he is more than welcome to play for Wales, it would be a lot harder than it already is without the English players in our squad

Hal Robson Kanu is not Welsh, he qualifies to play for Wales as you correctly stated.

People can criticise Ashley Williams for being an Englishman captaining the Welsh team, but, at least he has lived in Wales for close to a decade and has represented a Welsh club for the majority of his career.
Does that make him more 'Welsh' than HRK? Yes it does

This conversation wasn't made to discuss if he's English or Welsh was just wondering if anyone thought he would be a good option to sign as he's a free, Apologises wasn't aware that he was English

Sorry Jake you are right, it's the press that perpetuates the myth. 'Welsh ace' available on a free etc.
