"I present my case in Defence of Steve Tucker "

Steve Tucker stands accused of miss-quoting The CEO of Cardiff City FC Ken Choo/

We all know the background to it, we know that Ken Choo has said that Mr Vincent Tan sees not making the top 6 as 'failure.' Whether that's collective failure or an individual failure of the manager is the argument? all a bit of storm in a tea cup?

In actual fact, I have read a lot of poster's complimentary to Ken for saying what a lot of fans believe to be the truth :thumbright:

I don't get why Steve Tucker is getting so much abuse in all honesty.

I thought Vincent Tan and Ken Choo wanted this club to be a 'big club'? It comes with the territory, miss-quotes to downright fabrications. Don't you hear a story every week about UTD? Something along the lines of 'Young players don't like playing under LVG,' or something ludicrous like that, these 'reports' are almost daily with the big clubs.

How do big clubs deal with the spotlight? by and large they ignore. In this instance, the actual storyline was so tame it must of been better for the club to just ignore 'sensationalist headlines.'

Sensationalist headlines - sometimes it's best for clubs to acknowledge people take an interest in the club. 10 miles down the road at County, the headlines are much more sedate, indeed the reporting would be more factual :sleepy2:

Wouldn't it be more boring to support a club that doesn't have journalists looking to stir now and again? Maybe the club just have to deal with the fact that the club is big enough for a different type of journalism.

If thats the best you can do for Tucker then jog on. Its hard enough picking out the BS from the truth on here at the best of times.

We as a club could now do with a hefty dollop of positivity, not some third rate jurno trying to justify has pay packet.

Oh and if your Tucker in disguise no offence.

haha, I can write without redrafting and editing my 'work' to death. I think there is a lot of positivity from the club, Slade was not offered a new contract as manager :D

I'm trying to put it over that the club is big enough for journo's like Tucker to be around it. If the club's hierarchy did not know what Tucker looks for, then that is foolish
