Based on no money for new recruits
But you could use any money brought in from sales
And the wages of players sold would remain in the budget
Plus players sold could be replaced with current squad players


So here's my choices
Peltier Connelly ralls o keefe and pilkington would be my five
Sell Marshall maximum fee of £5 million save £20 k a week
Sell manga maximum fee of £4 million save £15 k a week
Sell noone maximum fee of £1.5 million save £15 k a week
Sell whitts maximum fee of £500 k save £20 k a week
Sell Malone maximum fee of £0 save £8 k a week
Sell Doyle maximum fee of £400 /500 k save £8k a week
Sell le fondre maximum fee £0 save £ 15 k a week
Sell adeymi maximum fee £400k save £10 k a week
Sell dikgicoi maximum fee £0 save £15 k a week
That would give us approx £10 million for new players
Players needed
Goal keeper to compete with Moore = £500k maximum fee £8k week maximum wages
Left and right full backs = £ 2 million = £15k a week combined wages plus a left back on a free £8k wages ,give Declan John one last season to impress or go
Morrison ,turner,osilaja to compete to partner Connelly
Midfield playmaker/possible captain ,to play with ralls and o keefe either side in midfield three ,£2 million fee maximum wages £15 k a week
Gunnerson Tommy o Sullivan plus new a n other free signing £8k a week as back up
That leaves £5.5 million to sort the front players out
IMO we need 3/4 front men who can play wide ore through the middle a bit like pilks ,who can close down aswell as attack
Most importantly they must have pace
One must be a target type forward ,4 players on £40 k a week combined wages
Healy and Harris and Saadi must be given a full season in the first team squad to impress or be moved on
Loans for zohore and immers would also be in my plan if the budget allowed
The fees for new players in my plan has been self financed through sales

£136k a week has been cut by player sales

£94k a week wages for the new additions in my plan leaves £42 k a week wages for loans or if we still need to cut our spending to remain within the ffp rules

It's not quite so easy once you start trying to buy and pay players within budgets
Bit easy to say keep him and him and get him and him without working out the £££

I agree about the need to keep the spine of the team as strong as possible but for me within our current squad the "spine" won't go beyond CM.

Besides that Peltier and if we do sign him Immers with Pilkington, John, Harris and Whitts but only as a squad player. I have been Whitts biggest supporter but it's clear that his best days are behind him, well behind him, but he does bring experience and quality and money can't buy that.

I would also like too see at least 3 of our best younger players in each matchday squad, O'Sullivan, Harris, John, Healey and oshilaja ALL offer better value for money than expensive loan signings like Ameobi.

When it comes to experience I'd also go and get Super Kev back as he wouldn't cost the earth and even at 33 he is better than Malone.

I really hope someone pays US £1m for ALF & Adeyemi but getting £350k for Malone would be the greatest trick.

We have these debates and miss the point....If we could sell half of those at cost neutral i guess we would have.

Gunnar or insanely Whitts are not going to move their family to a different location unless its worth it for them. They all have agents who want a slice of CCFC's pie.

Gunnar has a few years left as does Nooney, would you move clubs for less pay ?

I love Whitts but we must make plans for his exit (this time next year), his replacement isn't Ralls though

First player out the door for me would be noone followed by practically every player we have put on loan bar the youth.

I don't have 5 really, anyone on a big wage or that can demand any kind of decent fee I would let go.

Ralls is the one player who stands out who is young, talented and I wouldn't have thought on a huge wage.
Also like to see Oshilaja brought onto the squad and a higher earner defender leave.
O'Keefe a solid enough player if on a low wage as is Connolly.

I do also think Noone and Gunnerson can come good under a decent manager but that would depend on what kind of wage they are on.

I think the main issue is for the money we are paying out in wages we don't have the quality.
Marshall and Manga most likely earn their wages however the fees they could bring in would help strengthen elsewhere.

Other players who earn a big wage just aint worth the money we pay them I don't think.

Tony I'm half with you ,Connelly and o keefe always give Thier best and are not on high wages IMO only
