Had a decent record with derby didnt he?

I would agree. Sacked from Derby because his thinking was too "short-term" and too focused on getting them promoted this season, for some strange reason.

I would only have three doubts:

- How expensive would he be?

- Is he willing to come back?

- Would he look at us as a step down? Which would be fair enough, he was given money at Derby to spend that he wouldn't with us or any other Championship club really

My only worry with him is he looks like he is too nicey nicey quiet type manager like solsjkaer?

He'd certainly fit a coaching role. He's coached at Chelsea, real madrid and PSG! So he's certainly got the experience! When he was sacked they were still in with a shout of automatic promotion.

VERY EXPERIENCED COACH BUT WITH PLAYERS OF A MUCH HIGHER QUALITY ALTHOUGH ID BE HAPPY ENOUGH IF WE SIGNED HIM ALTHOUGH PEARSON WOULD BE MY FIRST CHOICE WITHOUT A SHADOW OF A DOUBT

Would be a poor choice imo
