Why couldn't most of our so called fans spare an extra 10 mins at the end of the game yesterday and give the team some appreciation as they walked around the pitch with their families. It's been a long season yet far too many are only concerned with getting out of the car park. At times our support is pathetic and in the main apathetic.
OK we didn't make the play offs. Big deal. The sight of fans streaming out 5 mins before the end and then right up until the team and staff came back out was embarrassing.

Totally agree!
Fair do's, it was the usual 'school night' in the Family Stand but the majority of stands were being emptied with minutes to go
Whatever else we say about City's stuttering results and capitulation towards the end of this season, I don't think we can fault their effort or commitment to the cause!
It was also a good opportunity to give Russell Slade a round of applause for the overall decent job he has done this season prior to his (welcome) move upstairs. I think most fans appreciate that but just don't see him as the man to take us to the next level again!
Birmingham's juvenile but large and vocal support were one with their team at the final whistle and it certainly wouldn't have hurt Cardiff City fans (who creditably took the time to turn up n the first place) to stay behind for a few minutes!

I left as I don't have to stay if I do t want to . I Go to every home game and most always and clap them off each game as well as yesterday . so I'm sure I'm entitled to go home if I want .

Completely agree - there were more Brum fans left in the end. Right up there with the folks who regularly choose to leave games early. You maybe entitled to do it but its simply just not done.

To the fans who felt they had to RUSH home after the game, well you've got 3 months before you'll have to RUSH home again - don't see why people could not give the players a round of applause, they have been trying hard.

I left at 90 minutes what's the big deal???

Dont see a problem. Thousands of our fans have spent a fortune on following City and for large chunks of this season, its been a borefest.
The majority also wanted Slade gone because his football 'style' was mainly less preferable to being hammered in the nuts. What exactly was there to thank Slade for??? He's made a fortune managing the biggest club he'll ever manage. And he still is on the payroll!!!
It speaks volumes how many stayed. Most have had a tit full.
Give us some excitement and something to believe in ffs!!!

I don't get the 'families' lap of honour thing. Fine if the players want to do the lap. Gives the chance for them to show their appreciation to the supporters and vice versa, but why include their kids.
