Pray for Neil Warnock

Fri May 06, 2016 3:30 pm

I really hope the ckub approach Neil Warnock, he has more or less issued a come and get me plea with his 'soft spot for cardiff' comments.

Let's opt for experience, no chances on a managerial unknown aka Bellamy.

If Bellamy wants an opportunity at the club, he should offer to roll his selves up in a coaching position and earn his chance.

GummiTheBluebird there is no way the Slade will be at the club next season, his new role is simply 'gardening leave' until he gets a new opportunity

Gav, that thought crossed my mind. I could see the announcement "Russell leaves for a fresh challenge" when another club comes in for him. But reading the official statement, I think there is a plan in the making (possibly Bellamy) and Russell Slade might well be here for some time to come :ayatollah:

I see your point, but I can't see Bellamy taking advice from anyone let alone someone who seems fairly meek like Slade.

We took a punt on solskjaer, once bitten, twice shy

Experience over experiment please VT.

slade is in a very comfortable situation and very well thought of by the hierarchy.. I bet it will be a matter of days or even announced after the game tomorrow that the job is bellamys :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

I can't see it being an old head like Warnock now. A young coach most likely.

Warnock all day long, hasn't he got the most promotions out if any manager from the championship?? Bellers would do well to be his assistant and learn from a master....

Did you not say - "once bitten, twice shy"!?

If they really do want someone "young, energetic with a stats based approach" that would seem to rule Warnock and several others out.
